The role of Food & Beverage Supervisor at DoubleTree Hotel by the Galleria is critical to maintaining the high standards of service in the hotel’s restaurant, lobby bar, and in-room dining operations. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring staff deliver an excellent guest experience by adhering to company policies and service protocols. Job Requirements
- At least two years of hotel food and beverage or restaurant supervisor experience
- at least one year bartending experience
- flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
- must be able to stand/walk for at least eight hours and lift/carry heavy trays weighing at least 25-30 pounds
- current TABC and Food Handler Certification required

- at least one year of bartending experience
- current TABC certification
- current food handler certification
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written

Job Duties
- Supervise food and beverage staff and communicate performance observations to the Food and Beverage Manager
- assist with managing food and beverage operations for restaurant, lobby bar and in-room delivery service
- be present in restaurant and lobby bar, engage with guests and give hands-on support to food and beverage staff to ensure guests expectations are exceeded
- train new hires and ensure service delivery consistently meets performance requirements and exceeds guest expectations
- inspect restaurant and conduct walk-throughs to ensure opening and closing duties are consistently practiced
- address and resolve guest concerns related to restaurant service and food and beverages
