Job Requirements
- Coordinate team member selection and development and ensure team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures
- Track sales and other key metrics to understand and drive all financial goals and objectives
- Manage individual banks for each food and beverage facility
- Collect, reconcile, and deposit individual reports and monies daily
- Ensure positive guest service while responding to complaints quickly and effectively
- Ensure invoices are checked against deliveries and forwarded with money and receipts to the office daily
- Perform shift opening and closing duties, including starting and cleaning equipment, general food preparation, reporting malfunctions to the manager, ensuring equipment is in proper working order and all operations are running smoothly
- Maintain kitchen and cooking areas and ensure kitchen equipment and food storage areas are clean, sanitary, and organized as required by the Health Department Rules and Regulations
- Create a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment for team members and an open line of communication with staff
- Prepare food ordered by customers using a variety of kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, meat slicers, food processors, etc.)
- Ensure quality control in both the front and back of the house via the proper recipes and preparation methods
- Guarantee proper food safety and cleanliness standards are always observed
- Report any kitchen equipment or maintenance issue to the Food and Beverage Manager and/or Maintenance department
Job Qualifications
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email, the internet, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be able to pass the Safe Food Handler Certificate Program within 60 days from the date of hire
- 1 year of increasingly responsible restaurant or food service management experience is preferred
- 6 months of previous bartending experience is desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of restaurant administration, food preparation, and food safety
