The Food & Beverage Supervisor role at Hotel Drover is pivotal in ensuring that the hotel’s food and beverage operations meet the highest standards of service and quality. This position supports the daily operations of multiple dining outlets, maintaining a focus on exceptional guest experiences while upholding brand standards, safety protocols, and operational excellence. As a working leader, the Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for guiding and coaching the team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that delivers Legendary Service consistent with the hotel’s Autograph Collection spirit and the robust culture of Fort Worth’s Stockyards. Job Requirements

  • Ability to obtain TABC and Food Handler certifications within 30 days of employment
  • 2+ years of related experience in food & beverage or hospitality
  • 1+ year of supervisory or lead-level experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully
  • Flexible schedule - must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in fast-paced or high-pressure environments
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related experience in food & beverage or hospitality
  • 1+ year of supervisory or lead-level experience
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Experience in developing or supporting training programs for frontline staff
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully
  • Flexible schedule - must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Previous hotel, resort, or luxury service experience

Job Duties

  • Ensure all team members are working cohesively to provide an elevated, seamless, and guest-focused dining experience across all F&B outlets
  • Monitor employee grooming, attire, and adherence to uniform standards, address deficiencies promptly and professionally
  • Perform and oversee opening and closing procedures, including setup of supplies, side work, cleaning, equipment checks, and securing work areas
  • Inspect dining, service, and storage areas for cleanliness, organization, FIFO compliance, and alignment with safety and sanitation standards
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and place requisitions to ensure proper stock levels of food, beverages, tools, and supplies
  • Circulate throughout dining areas to monitor guest flow, seating availability, service quality, and overall guest well-being
  • Support operational communication with Marketing regarding events, activations, promotions, and outlet updates
  • Maintain strict compliance with all food handling, sanitation, TABC, and safety policies (local, state, and company)
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, uniform appearance, and overall professionalism within the department
  • Resolve guest concerns within scope of authority
  • escalate when appropriate, document and communicate notable issues to leadership and Security as needed
  • Provide leadership coverage across outlets when managers are off property or on vacation
  • Develop, implement, and reinforce operational SOPs that support efficiency, safety, quality, and cost savings
  • Model Hotel Drover’s core values and foster a workplace culture rooted in hospitality, respect, communication, and Legendary Service
  • All other duties as assigned
