The Food & Beverage Supervisor role at The Verve Hotel Boston Natick is a vital position within the hotel's operational team. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating food and beverage services across the hotel's various outlets, including restaurant, lounge, and banquet operations. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Banquet Manager, the supervisor ensures the smooth execution of daily operations while upholding the highest standards of guest service and operational excellence. This position demands strong leadership skills to manage and mentor service staff, oversee shifts, and maintain a welcoming and clean environment for guests. The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key role in handling guest interactions, resolving concerns promptly to maximize guest satisfaction. In addition to hands-on supervision during service periods, the role involves supporting administrative functions such as preparing shift reports and participating in departmental meetings. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous supervisory experience in a hotel food and beverage setting, with a preference for those who have experience in both outlet and banquet services. They must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the dynamic needs of the hospitality industry. Physical stamina is important as the role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various physical tasks typical of a busy hotel environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory experience in a hotel food and beverage setting
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand, walk, lift (35-50 lbs), and perform physical duties required in a hospitality environment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • proficiency with point-of-sale systems
