Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage or banquet operations
  • Proven ability to train and develop teams
  • Experience in budget management and cost control
  • Strong guest service orientation
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree or certification in hospitality or food and beverage management preferred
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage or banquet operations
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Financial management experience including budget and cost control
  • Strong guest relations and customer service skills
  • Ability to resolve complaints and handle guest interactions effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Monitor budget and control expenses
  • Identify sales opportunities with catering office
  • Ensure secure handling of financial transactions
  • Assist in staffing and scheduling
  • Recruit, hire, and train team members
  • Enforce food and beverage protocols
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Communicate employee relations issues
  • Educate staff on safety and quality
  • Coordinate with hotel departments
  • Assist in kitchen duties
  • Maintain food and beverage equipment
  • Keep banquet and dining areas clean and stocked
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints
  • Resolve guest concerns and implement recovery
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and security
  • Uphold sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Manage inventory and storage
  • Conduct inventory checks and minimize waste
  • Implement sustainability initiatives
  • Maintain safe working environment
  • Enforce safety protocols and report incidents
