Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage or banquet operations
- Proven ability to train and develop teams
- Experience in budget management and cost control
- Strong guest service orientation
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree or certification in hospitality or food and beverage management preferred
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage or banquet operations
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Financial management experience including budget and cost control
- Strong guest relations and customer service skills
- Ability to resolve complaints and handle guest interactions effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Monitor budget and control expenses
- Identify sales opportunities with catering office
- Ensure secure handling of financial transactions
- Assist in staffing and scheduling
- Recruit, hire, and train team members
- Enforce food and beverage protocols
- Mentor and coach team members
- Communicate employee relations issues
- Educate staff on safety and quality
- Coordinate with hotel departments
- Assist in kitchen duties
- Maintain food and beverage equipment
- Keep banquet and dining areas clean and stocked
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints
- Resolve guest concerns and implement recovery
- Maintain guest confidentiality and security
- Uphold sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory and storage
- Conduct inventory checks and minimize waste
- Implement sustainability initiatives
- Maintain safe working environment
- Enforce safety protocols and report incidents
