Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess Food Handlers and STAR certifications
  • Must have at least one year of supervisory experience in food and beverage preferred
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and move objects of moderate weight
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Must understand and comply with emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience in food and beverage supervision or management preferred
  • Food Handlers and STAR certifications required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage financials including cost and par controls preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and accident prevention

Job Duties

  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper attire, uniform, and name tag
  • Monitor outlets for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness, and guest well-being
  • Maintain full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings
  • Ensure all staff complete side work checklists
  • Spot check liquor pars and order daily supplies
  • Monitor food and liquor requisitions
  • Maintain bar controls, safety, and standards
  • Hold pre-shift meetings and ensure departmental training requirements are met monthly
  • Follow up on established training steps
  • Handle guest comments and complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate with guests and receive feedback
  • Stay on the floor during peak hours
  • Motivate the team and assist when needed
  • Observe, teach, and correct staff’s service professionally
  • Work closely with culinary team to ensure smooth quality service
  • Assist manager in scheduling and forecasting
  • Participate in interviewing and recruiting
  • Assist in monthly MOS audits
  • Prepare maintenance requests and follow-up
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel property and events
  • Participate in department meetings and company trainings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
