The position of Food and Beverage Supervisor at Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach is integral to upholding the hotel's high standards in dining and guest services. This role requires overseeing the daily operations of multiple food and beverage outlets, ensuring that every guest experience meets or exceeds expectations in terms of quality, presentation, and service. The Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, training, and coaching associates to maintain performance aligned with brand and hotel standards, fostering an environment where excellence and hospitality flourish.
Supervisory duties also include compliance monitoring of sanitation and safety standards, maintaining inventory levels of supplies, and ensuring all restaurant and food service equipment function effectively. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- at least one year of food and beverage related experience or equivalent

- Knowledge of all health and safety regulations and procedures
- demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks
- good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates
- monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in food and beverage outlets
- ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
- interact with guests to obtain feedback
- perform service functions during high volume or staffing shortages
- assist with maintaining inventory and par levels of supplies
- ensure staff abides by all regulations for serving alcoholic beverages
- ensure all equipment is in working order and report malfunctions
- perform other duties as requested by management
