We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant and Bar Shift Supervisor to oversee the general functions of the restaurant and bar services during assigned shifts. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth operations, high levels of guest satisfaction, and effective team management. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing food and beverage operations, managing payroll processes, purchasing inventory to maintain stock levels, and stepping in to perform front-line roles such as bartender, hostess, cashier, or waitress when necessary to ensure efficient service delivery. This dynamic position requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including knowledge of alcoholic drink preparation and guest service etiquette.
The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in food and beverage operations combined with supervisory experience or equivalent training through a formal supervisory program. They should be skilled in recognizing and handling intoxicated patrons responsibly, maintaining organization and team cohesion, and resolving customer concerns promptly. With the ability to develop efficient staff schedules and communicate essential shift information effectively, the Restaurant and Bar Shift Supervisor ensures both employee and guest satisfaction. This role requires a high level of physical and mental stamina, including the ability to stand and walk constantly, handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds, and work in a dynamic environment that may include exposure to excessive noise and smoke. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, preferably with some college education, and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and secure a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

Job Qualifications
- One to two years working in a food and beverage operation and general supervisory experience or successful completion of a supervisory training program

- Ability to insure team concept in the workplace
Job Duties
- Oversee all food and beverage operations during assigned shift
- Process and complete bi-weekly payroll
- Complete purchasing of F&B products to ensure inventory
- If necessary, perform functions of bartender, hostess, cashier, and waitress during the assigned shift to assure efficient operation
- Answer employee questions and provide guidance in the performance of their duties
- Train new restaurant personnel in the performance of their duties and provide assistance as problems arise
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Develop schedules for maximum efficiency
- Communicate shift information to employees
- Monitor shift and shift changes to insure proper coverage or to prevent excess staffing
- Complete necessary paperwork for the shift
- Perform other duties as assigned
