The Food and Beverage Supervisor role at Typhoon Texas is a pivotal position within the Food and Beverage Department. Job Requirements
- Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler's permit
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- May be required to lift 25-50 lbs
- May be required to work in various weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, high temperatures, or rain
- Must be able to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to communicate in a positive and professional manner and work well with others
Job Qualifications
- Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler's permit
- Experience in food and beverage operations preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Knowledge of health department and food safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Assign team members to their designated areas for each shift
- Ensure team members complete daily checklists and cleaning tasks
- Provide outstanding customer service and effectively resolve any guest concerns
- Collaborate with leads to ensure assigned areas operate hospitably, safely and efficiently
- Communicate guest or team member feedback in a timely and constructive manner
- Ensure team members receive breaks in accordance with applicable labor laws, and that breaks are documented properly
- Train team members to perform tasks safely and in accordance with Typhoon Texas policies and departmental procedures
- Monitor guest wait times for food production estimations and communicate to upper leadership to adjust labor or operation to ensure the delivery of quick and high-quality product
