The Food and Beverage Supervisor role is a pivotal position within this hospitality environment. The supervisor will assist in menu planning, beverage preparation, and order expediting when needed. Financial responsibilities such as cash handling, collecting payments, verifying receipts, and balancing registers are also integral to the position. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of experience as a cashier
  • two years of experience as a server
  • one year of experience in direct sales or retail
  • previous supervisory or leadership experience in food and beverage preferred

  • at least one year of experience as a cashier, two years of experience as a server, and one year in direct sales or retail or an equivalent combination of experience
  • previous supervisory or leadership experience in food and beverage preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Supervise, train, and support the front-of-house and coffee shop teams to provide prompt, courteous, and professional service
  • schedule dining reservations, coordinate special events, and arrange services for parties or groups
  • greet guests, escort them to tables, provide menus, and ensure a welcoming experience
  • address and resolve guest complaints effectively and professionally
  • assign work tasks and oversee daily activities of associates to ensure smooth operations
  • inspect serving stations for neatness, cleanliness, and readiness
  • requisition supplies as needed
  • assist in planning menus, preparing beverages, and expediting food orders when necessary
  • manage cash handling responsibilities, including collecting payments, verifying receipts, and balancing registers
  • reward and recognize team members who use empowerment to meet or exceed guest expectations
  • perform other duties as assigned
