This company specializes in creating unique, interactive productions aboard moving trains, presenting a dynamic and exciting environment for both employees and guests. The division responsible for this event is Rail Events Production, specifically within the Front of House department. The Food & Beverage Staff Member role is a seasonal, non-exempt hourly position offering a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour. Positioned within the Front of House & Business Management team, this role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and exceptional delivery of food and beverage services aboard the Hogwarts Express. Staff members work closely with supervisors and managers to execute food and beverage duties precisely and efficiently, adhering to both state and local food safety regulations. This position requires a commitment to maintaining clean, orderly food and beverage areas, operating point-of-sale systems, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic rail environment.

The role is physically active, involving standing for extended periods and working in and around an active railroad yard.

Job Requirements

- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Capacity to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work varied schedule including overtime

Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems accurately

Job Duties
- Become familiar with state, local, and REP food safety regulations and procedures
- Become familiar with and execute REP food and beverage equipment, timing of production, and delivery procedures
- Assist in the general care of the food and beverage area, including keeping a clean and orderly space
- Assist with top of day, during event, and end of day prepping and cleaning of food and beverage areas
- Acquire knowledge of on-board experience, performance highlights, and venue facility
- Work with the entire event team to maintain a positive, enjoyable, and rewarding environment for all staff and passengers
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Operate and maintain point-of-sale (POS) systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
