Located within the vibrant community of Bensenville, Illinois, the Park District serves as a pivotal organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents by offering diverse recreational, cultural, and social opportunities. White Pines Golf Club itself boasts two meticulously maintained 18-hole golf courses, a halfway house, the popular 37 Bar & Grill, and versatile event spaces including a spacious tent with over 350-person capacity, a banquet facility capable of accommodating more than 250 guests, and the Pine Room with seating for over 100. This combination of facilities positions White Pines Golf Club as a key venue not only for golf enthusiasts but also for community gatherings, private events, and corporate functions.

The Shift Supervisor position at White Pines Golf Club offers a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity within this established and respected Park District. As a full-time exempt role with a competitive salary range between $50,000 to $60,000 annually, including a 40-hour work week that encompasses evenings and weekends, this position is essential to the successful daily operations of the Clubhouse. The Shift Supervisor is entrusted with the leadership and oversight of all clubhouse activities, including managing staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and fostering a safe, efficient, and positive environment for both patrons and employees.

The role demands a proactive and personable individual who can effectively motivate and direct a diverse team while responding adeptly to the immediate needs and concerns of guests. With responsibilities encompassing staff supervision, facility operation monitoring, security, and adherence to company policies, the Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in upholding the Park Districts mission and values. Moreover, this position requires a hands-on approach in enforcing safety protocols and managing sensitive aspects such as money handling and security procedures. Candidates must be prepared to contribute to a healthy workplace culture that supports collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Qualified applicants will bring significant food and beverage industry experience, exemplary customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced and sometimes stressful work environments. Essential certifications, such as a Food Service Sanitation License and Alcohol Awareness training, are required or must be obtained within six months of hire. A valid Illinois Driver's License and a minimum age of 21 years are also mandatory.

Overall, this role offers a unique chance for individuals passionate about hospitality and recreational management to impact a community-focused organization positively.
