With a diverse portfolio that includes world-class hotels, lodges, recreational attractions, ground transportation services, retail, food and beverage, sightseeing, tours, and travel products, Pursuit operates locations in some of the most breathtaking and sought-after areas such as Alaska, Montana, the Canadian Rockies, Reykjavik, and Costa Rica. As a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol PRSU and a member of the S&P SmallCap 600 index, Pursuit specializes in attractions-led hospitality that consistently generates revenue and delivers value to shareholders. The company's unwavering commitment to quality and authenticity is reflected in every aspect of its operations, from thoughtfully crafted guest experiences to its dedicated team members, who play a crucial role in bringing each destination to life.

The Restaurant Shift Manager position at the Seward Windsong Lodge, part of the Pursuit brand, offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service. This role is essential in ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience through effective supervision and coordination of the dining area and bar employees. With a starting wage of $23.00 per hour, this position emphasizes safety, guest anticipation, respect for the natural surroundings, and delivering superior service daily. The shift manager is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during shifts, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining clear communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams, and assisting team members to uphold high standards of service.

In this dynamic role, the manager will familiarize themselves with daily menu changes to better assist the staff and ensure guests receive accurate information about offerings. Part of the responsibilities also includes training and supervising dining room and bar team members to guarantee excellent guest service and a seamless dining environment. Additionally, the manager is tasked with accurately reporting food and beverage data and shift notes, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent communication within the team. The position also involves actively helping the front-of-house team during restaurant service, embodying Pursuit’s core values of responsiveness and teamwork. Working at Pursuit means engaging in a vibrant work environment where you can bring your whole self, collaborate with talented colleagues across departments, and build lasting professional relationships.

Beyond the role itself, Pursuit promotes an inclusive and supportive workplace culture known as the #PursuitLife. Team members enjoy a balance of work and play, supported by attractive benefits such as free access to Pursuit attractions, substantial discounts on hotel stays, dining, and retail, and access to subsidized mental health and wellness resources. Pursuit values diversity and inclusivity, encouraging candidates from various backgrounds to apply and offering accommodations to eliminate barriers for equity-deserving groups. Working at Pursuit means being part of a global team united by a passion for adventure, authentic hospitality, and the creation of memorable moments in extraordinary locations.
