Job Requirements

  • Willingness to relocate to the Cayman Islands
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a server or in customer service preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Good math skills for handling transactions
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service including wine and cocktail basics is an advantage

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their table
  • Present menus and make menu recommendations
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Monitor tables for cleanliness and service needs
  • Handle payment transactions accurately including cash and credit cards
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations and local alcohol service laws
  • Address guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient service
  • Assist in cleaning and resetting the dining area at the end of shifts
