Job Description

Sand Point Country Club, founded in 1927, is a prestigious private golf club located in Seattle, Washington. As the only private golf club in the region, Sand Point offers its members a wealth of exclusive amenities, including an 18-hole golf course redesigned by renowned architect David McLay Kidd, a covered and heated driving range, four outdoor and lighted tennis courts, a fitness center, and a swimming pool. The club not only focuses on providing outstanding sports and recreational facilities but also emphasizes exceptional dining experiences, social programs, and an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere. This historic club is dedicated to maintaining its heritage and traditions while continuously innovating to meet the needs and expectations of its diverse member base. The Club’s mission revolves around offering excellent service and social engagement in a welcoming environment where families can flourish and enduring friendships are made. Values such as integrity, respect, dedication, sustainability, environmental stewardship, innovation, and community guide the Club's operations and culture.

The Food and Beverage team at Sand Point Country Club plays a crucial role in enhancing member and guest experiences by delivering exemplary service in its dining venues. Currently, the club is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join its Front of House team in various capacities, primarily as servers. These positions are available both part-time and full-time with a competitive starting wage of $23 per hour, reflecting the importance of quality service at the Club. Servers will work in either the Pan Room, named for its stunning panoramic views of the mountains and lake, or the Main Dining Room, serving both lunch and dinner shifts throughout the week. Available shifts include lunch service on Tuesdays and weekends, and dinner service Wednesday through Friday and weekends.

The ideal candidates are positive, self-motivated individuals with at least 1 year of serving experience who appreciate the culinary arts and enjoy working in a vibrant, customer-focused environment. These team members are responsible for providing fast and friendly service by suggestively selling menu items, taking and delivering orders accurately via the Point of Sale system, and maintaining a clean, organized dining space. They must be capable of handling multiple priorities efficiently, working under pressure, and fostering a warm and personalized atmosphere by learning members’ preferences and names. The role also involves adhering to all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a current Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Service Permit as required by local authorities.

Team members at Sand Point Country Club benefit from the Club’s supportive environment and access to its exceptional facilities, contributing to a balanced and rewarding work-life experience. Additionally, those working shifts of five hours or more receive complimentary meals, underscoring the Club’s commitment to employee well-being. Above all, the club values respect, courtesy, and professionalism, ensuring that every guest and member feels valued and special throughout their visit. Joining the Food and Beverage team at Sand Point Country Club means becoming part of a dedicated group that upholds the Club’s mission, vision, and enduring commitment to quality and community engagement. This opportunity offers food and beverage professionals a chance to grow within a respected private country club setting while delivering memorable service in an inspiring location.
