The Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor role at Round1 is critical to maintaining the high standards of service and operational efficiency within the F&B department. As an F&B Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all food and beverage operations while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This position involves forecasting, planning, and overseeing all food and beverage orders, staffing, and financial activities to maximize sales, revenue, and employee satisfaction. The role requires someone who is outgoing, personable, and passionate about working with people in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The supervisor must maintain a strong presence on the floor during shifts, provide leadership and coaching to staff, and work closely with upper management to meet departmental and company goals.

Open availability is required, and employees who handle and serve alcohol must be at least 21 years old. In this supervisory capacity, you'll train and mentor team members, manage scheduling and administrative duties, and uphold compliance with all relevant laws and company policies. The position demands attention to detail, particularly in food preparation standards, customer complaint resolution, and ensuring responsible alcohol service. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure the overall success of the entertainment venue's operations. The role involves physical activity, including bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods, in a lively bowling center and arcade environment where noise levels are high.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old to handle and serve alcohol
  • Open availability
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and climb with high mobility and flexibility
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance
  • Ability to work in a noisy, busy bowling center/arcade environment

  • Experience in managing food and beverage operations is preferred

Job Duties

  • Conducts food preparation, designates portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food in order to ensure acceptable food quality
  • Assists in scheduling and receiving food and beverage deliveries, verifying product quality and quantity
  • Assists in department employee schedules and assigns duties
  • Investigates and resolves customer complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
  • Ensures knowledge and compliance with alcohol serving processes and age restriction controls
  • Maintains a floor presence of at least 90% of the shift, providing sales and troubleshooting support
  • Opens and closes store and department following company guidelines
  • Trains, coaches, and issues disciplinary actions for department staff as requested by F&B Manager
  • Creates department schedules, task assignments, and manages breaks/lunches when requested by F&B Manager
  • Attends weekly staff meetings with department Manager to discuss and resolve operational, staffing, and customer service issues
  • Conducts tills checks, refunds, and price adjustments according to company policy
  • Sets performance goals with upper management
  • Monitors progress and performance with key trainers and upper management
  • Achieves department sales goals through execution of company policies
