Job Description
The hiring establishment is a well-established full-service hotel known for providing exceptional hospitality and dining experiences. With multiple food and beverage outlets onsite, the hotel caters to a diverse clientele that includes business travelers, tourists, and event organizers. This company prides itself on maintaining high service standards, exceptional culinary offerings, and creating memorable guest experiences. Committed to operational excellence and guest satisfaction, the establishment continuously invests in its team and infrastructure to uphold its reputation as a premier destination for dining and accommodation.
The role is for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager, a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution across multiple food and beverage outlets and service periods within the hotel. This role is integral to the overall success of the hotel's food and beverage operations. The successful candidate will partner closely with culinary, events, and hotel leadership teams to drive service standards, implement cost controls, and enhance guest satisfaction. Employment is full-time with a competitive salary of $95,000 annually plus a 10% bonus, reflecting the significance and responsibility of the position.
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager will lead outlet operations by managing service standards, scheduling, labor strategies, and staff training across all food and beverage outlets within the property. This includes ensuring that the guest experience consistently meets or exceeds expectations and leading service recovery efforts when necessary. The role requires elevating consistency in service delivery across different shifts and outlets to maintain the hotel's distinguished reputation.
Financial performance is a critical component of this position. The manager will be responsible for driving improvements in food cost, beverage cost, and labor percentages, as well as implementing strict inventory controls. Collaborating with culinary and catering teams will be essential during events and peak service periods to ensure smooth operations and excellent service standards.
Further responsibilities include implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), sanitation standards, and compliance protocols to adhere to health and safety regulations. The role demands strong leadership skills with a visible floor presence and a hands-on approach to coaching and training staff at all levels. An ideal candidate will boast 5 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in food and beverage operations within a high-volume or full-service hotel environment, with a proven track record of improving cost controls without sacrificing service quality.
In summary, the Food & Beverage Operations Manager position is a pivotal role within a reputable full-service hotel. It offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead multiple food and beverage outlets, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute directly to the hotel's overall guest satisfaction and financial success. Candidates with strong leadership abilities, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences are encouraged to apply.
