Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • Or two-year degree from an accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • Two years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • Ability to manage budgets
  • Effective leadership and team supervision skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest concerns proactively and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, four years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area, or two-year degree from an accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major with two years experience in food and beverage or related professional area
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and operating statements
  • Knowledge of brand specific service culture
  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Assists in the ordering of food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and monitors compliance with all policies, standards and procedures
  • Supports and supervises an effective monthly self inspection program
  • Operates all department equipment and reports malfunctions
  • Supervises staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
  • Encourages and fosters mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
  • Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in their absence
