Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional guest experiences. Among its illustrious portfolio of brands is EDITION Hotels, a unique boutique hotel concept merging the visionary brilliance of Ian Schrager with Marriott's world-class service standards and global presence. EDITION Hotels provide a sophisticated and original hospitality experience, blending personality with polish, individualism with perfectionism, and comfort with charisma. Located in the vibrant area of Miami Beach, Florida, at 2901 Collins Ave, the EDITION Hotel offers a luxurious atmosphere that caters to discerning guests who value design, service, and a truly memorable stay. The company prides itself on fostering an inclusive and diverse environment, embracing the unique backgrounds and talents of its associates to build a rich and dynamic workplace culture.
This position is for a Food and Beverage Management role within the EDITION Hotel, offering a full-time employment opportunity with an annual salary range of $68,000 to $84,000, including eligibility for bonuses. The role involves supervising daily food and beverage (F&B) shift operations, ensuring strict compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures, and maintaining operational excellence to meet and exceed customer expectations consistently. As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing quality control, maintaining budgets, and upholding legal and brand standards. You will lead by example and develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish critical work tasks.
The Food and Beverage Manager will also play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and motivating environment that empowers team members to deliver exceptional service. You will be involved in staffing coordination to meet operational needs and financial objectives, conducting inspections to assure quality and cleanliness, and facilitating open communication channels between staff and management. Your leadership will extend to coaching and mentoring employees, helping them understand and embrace the hotel's brand philosophy, and promoting teamwork and respect within the department.
In addition to operational responsibilities, you will be a customer service champion who takes proactive steps to address guest concerns, drive satisfaction, and enhance retention. You will serve as a role model for appropriate service behaviors and maintain a visible and approachable presence for both guests and team members.
Furthermore, the position includes administrative duties such as analyzing budgets, payroll reports, and performance standards, while also occasionally performing frontline job functions when necessary. You will be integral to promoting a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring that business needs are met through effective problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Joining the EDITION Hotel means becoming part of a brand that values passion, originality, and excellence, while contributing to an unforgettable guest experience. Marriott International is committed to equal opportunity employment and creating an inclusive workplace where all associates are respected and given the opportunity to thrive. This role represents an exciting chance to advance your career in a dynamic, luxury hospitality setting where service comes from the heart and every performance is a unique, spirited experience.
