Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field
  • Or two year degree from accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field
  • Ability to work full time
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage staff and operations
  • Proficiency with departmental equipment
  • Knowledge of budget and payroll processes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Or two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Knowledge of brand specific philosophy and service culture
  • Ability to manage daily F&B operations and meet customer expectations
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills

Job Duties

  • Assists in the ordering of food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Supervise daily food and beverage shift operation and monitor compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards and procedures
  • Supports and supervises an effective monthly self inspection program
  • Operates all department equipment as necessary and reports malfunction
  • Supervise staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence
