The company values innovation and employee development, which is evident in its comprehensive benefits and training programs aimed at promoting career growth and well-being.
As a Food and Beverage Operations Manager at Wawa, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that all food and beverage services operate smoothly and efficiently. Your role will be pivotal in overseeing the variety of food offerings, including fresh food items, grab-and-go options, beverages, and catering services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
In this capacity, you will also focus on driving sales growth and achieving performance goals through strategic planning and team collaboration. Staying current with industry trends and leveraging marketing strategies in-store will be crucial to enhancing our food service programs. You will serve as a key resource for training Customer Service Associates, helping them develop the skills necessary to provide excellent service and fostering their professional growth.
The position requires hands-on management of daily operations, including inventory control, ordering, and equipment maintenance, as well as ensuring that all food service environments comply with health and safety regulations. You will lead hiring efforts and create efficient staff schedules to meet business demands across various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Wawa is dedicated to supporting its Associates not only through competitive compensation but also through a rich benefits package. Eligible employees enjoy access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, mental health support, a robust Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k) with matching contributions, and educational assistance programs. Additional benefits such as store discounts, paid time off, paid parental leave, and wellness initiatives demonstrate Wawa’s commitment to the financial, physical, and emotional well-being of its workforce.
This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $22.70 to $28.40, depending on experience and location, with the added potential to earn monthly bonus incentives.
