The Food and Beverage Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role within Invited, directly contributing to the seamless delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our private club members. This hands-on management position involves overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring that every aspect from food safety to member satisfaction exceeds expectations. The Manager will supervise restaurant operations including staffing, service quality, and event readiness while maintaining compliance with Invited's renowned service and food safety standards. This role demands not only strong operational oversight but also active engagement with team members through training, meetings, and development efforts to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team.

Centrally responsible for the overall restaurant experience, the Food and Beverage Operations Manager will ensure that guests receive outstanding service with attention to detail in order execution and dining room presentation. Beyond daily tasks, the role involves maintaining a deep understanding of menu items and beverage offerings to support both staff and member interactions effectively. This position also requires managing opening and closing procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in all service areas, and promoting flexibility to accommodate busy periods including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • strong communication skills
  • physical agility and endurance
  • flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods, including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • preferred certifications: Food Handlers, Alcohol Safety, TABC Certification, and CPR
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets

Job Duties

  • Uphold Invited service excellence and food safety standards
  • provide outstanding service to guests and ensure timely order execution
  • supervise service staff and support their development to maintain high service quality
  • oversee dining room setups and event specifications to ensure readiness for service
  • conduct opening and closing procedures for shifts while maintaining cleanliness and organization
  • lead staff meetings and training sessions, fostering a knowledgeable and skilled team
  • maintain a comprehensive understanding of the menu and beverage offerings
  • effectively communicate with the team to ensure smooth operations
