The company prides itself on being one of South Carolina’s Best Places to Work and seeks to maintain high standards by attracting talented and dedicated individuals to join its leadership team. At Spinx, employees are more than just staff members; they are part of a thriving community focused on delivering outstanding customer service and operational efficiency.
The Food and Beverage Manager role at Spinx offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about retail and food service management. This full-time position comes with an average annual base salary of $54,000 paid hourly, alongside attractive bonus structures including an average monthly bonus of $500, annual profit sharing of $800, and $3,000 in average annual tuition reimbursement. The role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is motivated by both financial rewards and personal growth.
As a Food and Beverage Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day store operations with a strong focus on food service and customer satisfaction. The role entails ensuring store safety, recruiting and training employees, scheduling staff shifts, and maintaining compliance with company policies and standards. The manager will also promote store profitability by controlling expenses, managing inventory levels, and addressing shortages proactively. This position requires dedication to living Spinx’s motto "Making Life Easier" by consistently delivering excellent customer experiences through engaged leadership and operational excellence.
Training and professional development are significant components of the Food and Beverage Manager position. Newly hired managers undergo comprehensive computer-based training, ServSafe certification, along with 4 to 6 weeks of specialized food and beverage training and retail operations training. This structured approach ensures that managers are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead their teams effectively and uphold Spinx’s reputation for quality service.
The role demands a high level of responsibility as the Food and Beverage Manager will direct and coordinate a team of 3 to 15 store team members. The manager is expected to inspire pride, enthusiasm, and determination in all aspects of store operations while ensuring that customers’ needs are prioritized. Successful managers will create open, welcoming environments where customers feel valued and staff members are motivated to exceed expectations.
Spinx requires this role to work approximately 50 hours per week with flexibility to cover various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. The physical demands of the job include the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. The company supports its employees with an impressive benefits package including paid time off after six months, a 401k retirement plan with company match and profit sharing, fuel discounts, health, dental and vision insurance, disability coverage, tuition reimbursement, and scholarship opportunities.
For motivated individuals seeking a leadership role in food and beverage management within a supportive and vibrant company culture, Spinx offers an excellent career path. This position combines hands-on operational responsibilities with strategic leadership and customer-focused service delivery, enabling managers to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the company’s ongoing success.
