The Food and Beverage Manager role at the Washington Hilton is a crucial leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple food and beverage outlets within the hotel, including the renowned Four Oaks Restaurant, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Sidecar Lobby Lounge, McClellan's Sports Bar, and the Executive Lounge. This position manages a team of 15 to 20 hourly union employees, ensuring that each dining venue upholds the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience in high-volume food and beverage operations, preferably within hotel or full-service restaurant settings.
The Food and Beverage Manager directly influences the culture of the department, actively drives revenue growth, and rigorously controls costs to maximize profits. Key responsibilities include directing daily activities, planning efficient operations, implementing cost controls on food, beverage, and labor, and maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. Additionally, the manager is charged with recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff, ensuring a positive work environment and exceptional guest experiences.
This leadership role requires a flexible candidate who is available to work both morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, responding effectively to the dynamic needs of the hotel’s food and beverage operations. The position offers a competitive annual salary range between $60,000 and $70,000, commensurate with experience, and provides access to comprehensive medical insurance coverage for employees and their families.
Working for Hilton means becoming part of a globally respected hospitality leader with a nearly century-long legacy of innovation, quality, and success.
