The position includes administrative duties such as staff hiring, training, scheduling, payroll management, inventory control, and maintaining efficient communication with senior management and other departments. A flexible schedule with opening and closing shifts is required to align with the hotel's operational needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous food and beverage or restaurant supervisory experience preferred
- Valid California driver license required
- Certification in responsible service of alcohol preferred
- CPR first aid certification a plus
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Meet legal age requirements for the position
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation service standards guest relations and etiquette
- Ability to effectively manage associates and customers with patience tact and diplomacy
- Strong written communication skills including reports memos and performance evaluations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in English communication
- Above average math skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions
- Spanish language skills preferred
Job Duties
