Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant restaurant management experience
  • Experience in upscale or luxury dining settings
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage a large front of house team
  • Proficiency with cost and labor control practices
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in food and beverage
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience in unionized workplace preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment
  • Experience managing a unionized environment preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in cost control and operational budgeting
  • Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations
  • Ability to multitask and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet daily operational needs
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and customer satisfaction
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate front of house staff
  • Collaborate with Restaurant General Manager to maintain seamless communication and operational efficiency
  • Drive team performance and foster a positive work environment
