The role of Food & Beverage Outlet Manager – PM at Omni Parker House Hotel is pivotal for maintaining and enhancing the hotel's high standards of dining service. This professional role involves supervising all food and beverage personnel to ensure excellent service that aligns with Omni's policies and brand standards. The manager is responsible for training staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction through effective service and operational efficiency. Integral to the position is the ability to manage the restaurant’s financial aspects by monitoring costs and leveraging guest feedback through satisfaction surveys. The manager actively ensures that service protocols are followed, guest complaints are handled satisfactorily, and the entire dining room operates smoothly.
Responsibilities also include scheduling staff, coordinating with kitchen and stewarding teams, ensuring compliance with beverage service protocols, and maintaining the physical condition and cleanliness of the dining environment. The manager must maintain a keen eye on food quality and presentation, side-work completion, and functionality of equipment to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The role requires a proactive approach to managing guest interactions and repeat client recognition to foster strong relationships and loyalty. Additionally, the manager is involved in sales promotions, merchandising, and adhering to liquor liability laws and company safety policies, including emergency procedures such as CPR.
Candidates should bring a minimum of four years of leadership experience in food and beverage operations and preferably hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Previous experience in restaurant management, particularly as a general or assistant general manager, is advantageous. This position requires excellent communication skills, a flexible schedule accommodating evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to stand and walk for extended shifts. The work environment includes exposure to kitchen and bar areas, occasional travel around the property, and handling of various equipment and chemicals.
The salary for this Food & Beverage Outlet Manager position ranges from $66,085 to $82,606 based on experience.
