The Food & Beverage Manager role at Oak View Group is integral to maintaining the high standards expected across the company’s extensive network of live entertainment venues. This position is responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of Concession Outlets, Bars, Vending operations, and Catered Events. The Food & Beverage Manager will lead efforts to organize and strategically plan events in close coordination with event coordinators and sales teams, utilizing historic data and event trends to forecast and meet guest demands efficiently. Training and enforcement of sanitation, alcohol awareness, and service standards are core responsibilities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. - Knowledge of banquet service standards
- Ability to supervise staff and oversee multiple locations
- Ability to set up, program, and operate a point of sale system
- Good math skills necessary to perform inventory calculations
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher
- Able to operate a personal computer several times a day
- Ability to access information and print on computer/terminal monitor
- Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Ability to reach and handle products frequently
- Ability to lift heavy objects daily
- Ability to operate a forklift

Job Duties
- Organize and strategically plan for events utilizing historic records or similar event trends
- Train and enforce sanitation, alcohol awareness, and service standards
- Meet event coordinators and the sales team to discuss the flow of events, special considerations, the location of stands, menus, and hours of operation for concession and bar outlets
- Schedule part-time and temporary staff for events according to workload and fiscal guidelines
- Order beverages, alcoholic beverages, condiments, and disposable ware
- Oversee set-up and breakdown of all retail and catered events
- Assure proper set-up of registers for each event
- Conduct monthly inventories of catering, concessions, vending, and bar supplies
- Stock vending machines as needed
- Assist in the planning and execution of catered events, to include supervising Captains, Servers, and Runners
- Attend weekly and monthly designated Food and Beverage Planning Meetings
- Supervise staff in a manner consistent with OVG policies and procedures
