Located in Ontario, California, the ONT Field venue is one of the exciting locations where Legends Global executes its premium food and beverage services. The Food and Beverage Manager at Legends Global is a critical role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the guest experience across all hospitality areas at the venue. Reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every food and beverage operation runs smoothly and meets the highest standards of quality and service. This salaried exempt position offers an attractive compensation package ranging from $73,000 to $76,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The role demands day-of-event leadership, staff supervision, and direct engagement with guests to maintain and elevate service excellence. The Food and Beverage Manager is accountable for all front-of-house team members assigned to the venue and leads the operational fulfillment in all relevant food and beverage spaces, including concessions, premium suites, loge boxes, VIP clubs, and backstage areas. The position requires collaboration with various departments, such as the Premium Sales Manager and Event Manager, to ensure client expectations, event logistics, and service delivery are flawlessly executed. Implementing training programs in alignment with Legends Global’s brand standards and maintaining strong product knowledge among team members are essential responsibilities that support the company’s reputation for exceptional service. The Manager is also tasked with monitoring customer satisfaction, addressing and resolving guest concerns promptly, and administering operational controls to ensure efficient and profitable front-of-house operations. Additionally, financial responsibilities include managing budgets related to revenue, food costs, expenses, headcount, and overall profitability. The role involves analyzing monthly financial performance, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Collaboration with the venue Chef and Sales Manager helps maintain appealing menu offerings that align with food cost targets. Inventory management, waste prevention, venue cleanliness, sanitation, safety standards, and equipment maintenance coordination are all integral to the successful execution of this position. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations required
  • progressive supervisory experience required
  • Serv Safe or Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to pass background check
  • ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations required
  • progressive supervisory experience required
  • related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above
  • Serv Safe / Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Accountable for all front-of-house team members assigned to the venue
  • lead all event-day fulfillment for all food and beverage spaces including concessions, premium spaces, suites, loge boxes, VIP clubs, and backstage/VIP areas
  • implement training programs to ensure high-quality service aligned with Legends Global brand standards and maintain strong product knowledge among team members
  • monitor customer satisfaction during events and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • direct and administer operational controls for front-of-house operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • manage assigned venues to budget revenue, food cost, expenses, headcount, and profitability
  • review monthly financial performance and explain any variances while implementing corrective action plans as needed
  • collaborate with the venue Chef and Sales Manager to ensure menu offerings remain appealing to guests while maintaining food cost targets
  • maintain accurate inventory and monitor product handling to prevent waste and loss
  • ensure venue cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards meet all regulatory requirements
  • coordinate with facilities teams to maintain equipment and arrange repairs or replacement when needed
  • perform other duties as assigned to support efficient department operations
