The role of Food and Beverage Manager at our Ontario, California location (ONT Field) is instrumental in maintaining the high standards that define the Legends Global brand. Reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Food and Beverage Manager will lead all front-of-house food and beverage operations across the venue's hospitality environments, including concessions, premium spaces, suites, loge boxes, VIP clubs, and backstage VIP areas. This leadership role demands overseeing event-day execution, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating closely with various internal teams including sales and culinary services. The Food and Beverage Manager will assume accountability for operational control, financial management including budgets and profitability, product quality, inventory control, sanitation, and safety compliance. They will implement strategic training programs to elevate service quality and enforce brand standards while fostering strong communication and motivation among team members. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this position requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills along with the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. The annual salary range for this salaried exempt position is $73,000 to $76,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, food service management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations required
  • Progressive supervisory experience required
  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
  • Must obtain SERV Safe / Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to walk long distances for more than 50% of workday
  • Must follow safety guidelines and use precautions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations required
  • Progressive supervisory experience required
  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Job Duties

  • Accountable for all front-of-house team members assigned to the venue
  • Lead all event-day fulfillment for all food and beverage spaces including concessions, premium spaces, suites, loge boxes, VIP clubs, and backstage VIP areas
  • Implement training programs to ensure high-quality service aligned with Legends Global brand standards and maintain strong product knowledge among team members
  • Monitor customer satisfaction during events and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Direct and administer operational controls for front-of-house operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Manage assigned venues to budget revenue, food cost, expenses, headcount, and profitability
  • Review monthly financial performance and explain any variances while implementing corrective action plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the venue Chef and Sales Manager to ensure menu offerings remain appealing while maintaining food cost targets
  • Maintain accurate inventory and monitor product handling to prevent waste and loss
  • Ensure venue cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards meet all regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with facilities teams to maintain equipment and organize repairs or replacements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department efficiency
