Job Description
We are a dynamic hospitality establishment seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to lead our vibrant team and elevate every dining experience to memorable heights. Our company prides itself on creating a lively, guest-centric environment where top-notch service and hospitality are more than just goals—they are our way of life. As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will be an integral part of the leadership team, overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and fostering a positive atmosphere that delights both guests and staff. We operate in a fast-paced, energetic setting that thrives on teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. This role is a full-time, overtime-eligible manager position, ensuring that dedicated efforts are recognized and rewarded appropriately in alignment with labor regulations.
In this role, you will play the critical role of 'Captain of Hospitality,' leading your team by example and setting the tone for an inviting and enjoyable guest experience across various dining venues, from casual lounges to large banquet settings. Your leadership will influence the culture of service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Additionally, you will be the 'Operations & Compliance Guru,' maintaining rigorous standards for grooming, health and safety certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid, thereby safeguarding the well-being of both guests and employees. Your managerial skillset will also include administrative talents where you will manage payroll, employee scheduling, and productivity tracking, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to budgets.
Beyond operational duties, the Food & Beverage Manager will serve as a 'Quality & Promotions Pro,' guaranteeing that all food and beverages meet high standards of presentation and taste. You will regularly innovate with exciting promotions and meticulously manage inventory and purchasing to keep costs under control while maximizing guest satisfaction. Effective communication is paramount; you will be responsible for keeping both your team and guests informed, addressing requests or resolving concerns swiftly to maintain a seamless service flow. Enthusiasm and versatility will mark your general approach, as you attend meetings, analyze performance reports, and step into various roles as needed to support your team’s success.
This position demands a candidate with a minimum of five years’ progressive experience in hospitality or a relevant college degree paired with practical experience. Proficiency in technology such as Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing tools is essential, alongside strong financial and arithmetic skills. Supervisory experience is highly preferred, supported by excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. The ability to remain composed and objective under pressure is critical for success in this role.
Our company recognizes the value of a motivated and cared-for workforce; therefore, after an initial qualifying period, full-time employees become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including daily pay options, medical, dental, and vision coverage, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance policies, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan. Joining our team means being part of a vibrant culture focused on growth, teamwork, and exceptional guest experiences.
