The role of Food and Beverage Manager in Training at Hilton Omaha is a dynamic leadership position aimed at cultivating the next generation of hospitality leaders within the hotel. This training role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the management and operational aspects of food and beverage outlets, including supervision, compliance, quality assurance, and team development. The Manager in Training will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness, and striving continuously for quality in food and beverage service.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of alcohol service regulations
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Supervise the activities of the food and beverage outlets

  • Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality and service
  • Train, supervise, schedule and assist in evaluating staff
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations including guest service standards and operational policies
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by monitoring product quality and guest satisfaction
  • Contribute to revenue growth through marketing initiatives and up-selling techniques
