The Food and Beverage Manager position at the House of Blues in Boston, operated by Aramark, plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire food and beverage operations in the absence of the Director of Operations. Job Requirements
- Education to at least high school level
- Prior supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment as required
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to guest service excellence
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience leading associates at a supervisory level in a midscale to upscale restaurant, banquet venue, or hotel
- At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Experience as a server in a mid to upscale restaurant preferred
- Ability to support team member development
- Experience with financial and quality service responsibilities
- Guest and associate service centric attitude
Job Duties
- Report to the Food & Beverage Director
- Oversee entire food and beverage operation including quality control, staffing, event preparation, kitchen and dining room operations, and management development
- Lead, train, develop, communicate, and motivate team members to meet operational standards
- Spend at least 60% of time on the floor supervising, coaching, and training staff
- Ensure exceptional guest service and operational excellence
- Monitor financial and quality service responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience
