This particular role is for a Food and Beverage (F&B) Team Leader at High Bar, located atop the AC Hotel in Clayton. The position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 per year, reflecting the importance and responsibility the role entails in delivering superior service quality. This full-time role involves leading and managing team members to ensure guests enjoy friendly, professional service, top-notch food quality, and value throughout an inviting, well-maintained dining environment. The F&B Team Leader will oversee daily operations focused on timely meal delivery, proper presentation, portion control, and food temperature standards.

Moreover, the leader will play a crucial role in staff development through comprehensive training, continuous service education, and performance evaluations. They will work closely with the Chef to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, as well as collaborate on product selection and pricing strategies for beverages, including liquors and wines. Financial management is a key component of this role, assisting the General Manager and F&B Director with budget creation, cost control, and marketing plan execution to meet targeted sales and profitability goals. The leader will supervise all non-supervisory service employees and ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations. This role promises dynamic interaction, growth opportunities, and an integral part in sustaining the fine reputation of High Bar and AC Hotel under Concord Hospitality's umbrella.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage management or related hospitality role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to train and develop staff effectively
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in food and beverage management
  • Strong knowledge of service standards and hospitality industry best practices

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and financial management in hospitality

Job Duties

  • Provide guests and patrons with friendly and professional service, excellent food quality, strong price value and consistency of execution in an attractive, well-maintained environment
  • Ensure that meals are delivered in a timely fashion with attention to plating, portion and temperature
  • Develop ways to improve cost savings and labor retention/associate development in line to meet the hotel’s F&B financial goals
  • Thoroughly train staff in service sequence, product knowledge, ensuring we make every effort to meet the needs of each and every guest
  • Lead service education through daily line-ups
  • Headline new server, busser, host, and bartender training programs, as well as ongoing development programs, and seminars
  • Daily evaluation of restaurant service performance
