As a Food and Beverage Manager at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, you will be a vital part of the Gemma Team. This role transcends traditional management responsibilities by placing you at the heart of guest experience creation. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s food and beverage department, ensuring all dining outlets maintain the highest standards of excellence. This includes delivering exceptional culinary and service quality while employing smart marketing strategies to boost profitability and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in food and beverage management particularly in luxury hotels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse teams
  • Proficiency in budgeting cost control and financial reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage daily food and beverage operations for designated outlets ensuring top-tier quality service and marketing strategies that maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Support the development and implementation of guest satisfaction strategies monitoring trends gathering feedback and driving continuous improvements
  • Oversee the administrative and planning functions of the Food and Beverage department ensuring smooth daily operations while implementing cost controls for food beverage and labor expenses
  • Support the delivery of exceptional food and beverage quality service and marketing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction drive revenue and maximize profitability
  • Supervise coach and mentor team members provide professional development opportunities and recognize achievements to build retain and engage a high-performing team
  • Maintain compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
