This position is for a Restaurant Manager at The Waterfront Beach Resort. The role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, offering comprehensive oversight and leadership. The restaurant manager is responsible for interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling, and disciplining restaurant associates. Effective scheduling and directing of staff in their work assignments are critical to maintaining operational excellence. The position also entails ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards to safeguard guests and associates alike, alongside maintaining the upkeep and functional status of all restaurant equipment.
A significant aspect of the role is the responsibility for the aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of the restaurant facilities. Regular visual inspections and prompt corrective actions are required to uphold the welcoming atmosphere that guests expect. Moreover, the restaurant manager must oversee work orders to guarantee timely completion of repairs and maintenance, sustaining the overall quality of the dining environment.
Quality assurance is another primary responsibility, encompassing the monitoring of product quality, guest satisfaction, food consistency, and presentation according to set standards. - Four-year college degree in hotel and restaurant management preferred
- at least two years of experience as a restaurant manager

Job Duties
- Interviews selects trains supervises counsels disciplines and participates in the evaluation of restaurant associates for efficient operation of the restaurant
- schedules and directs staff in work assignments
- ensures restaurant complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates
- ensures that all equipment is in working order
- visually inspects and takes corrective action to ensure that facilities in restaurant look appealing and attractive to guests

- manages and monitors product quality and guest satisfaction in restaurant

- verifies temperatures judges appearance and taste of products and checks preparation methods to determine quality
- provides guidance for improvement and implements necessary adjustments
- interacts with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet
- investigates and resolves guest complaints in a timely manner
- documents inventory forecast usage and monitors supply
- oversees set up of dining and service areas
- participates in marketing efforts of restaurants creates menu ideas surveys competition and reports food trends and assists in preparation of specials
- ensures compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the restaurant as well as all local state and federal laws and regulations
