Levy is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations at specific locations, working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage. This leadership role involves managing an operations team to uphold the highest standards of guest experience, safety, and financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hospitality or retail leadership experience, possess strong coaching skills to motivate and develop team members, and have a passion for delivering operational excellence.
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for understanding the full range of menus, product offerings, and pricing strategies unique to their venue. They ensure the presentation and merchandising of concession areas meet Levy's high standards while strictly enforcing safety, security, and sanitation policies. This role involves strategic operational planning to maintain appropriate staffing and inventory levels for various concession events, alongside promoting proactive maintenance routines and supporting all functions needed to achieve financial goals.
Additionally, the manager fosters strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and not-for-profit partners, gathering feedback to continuously enhance service quality. They handle guest service issues promptly, implement promotional programs as directed, and maintain diligent daily and monthly reporting. Cash handling integrity, inventory accuracy, and effective team communication are essential elements of this role. The manager leads recruitment, hiring, and comprehensive training initiatives consistent with Levy’s standards, encouraging an empowered and engaged workforce.
This position requires someone with a bachelor's degree in hospitality management (preferred), excellent computer literacy, and a solid understanding of financial concepts. Job Duties
- Understand all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing
- Ensure all concession areas have proper displays and merchandise
- Execute all security, safety and sanitation standards
- Provide operational planning to ensure appropriate teaming levels and product ordering for concession events
- Follow and execute preventative maintenance schedules
- Hold team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service
- Maintain show quality standards at all times
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members
- Obtain feedback from clients and guests to improve operations
- Respond and assist in departmental guest service issues
- Execute all menus, promotions and programs as directed
- Achieve daily sales and cost goals
- Follow and enforce responsible alcohol service policies
- Verify all opening and closing inventories
- Complete required daily and monthly reporting
- Ensure team members adhere to Levy guidelines and employee handbook
- Forecast and schedule team members to meet operational needs and targets
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain stocked assigned areas ready for operation
- Conduct on-site training of POS system and equipment
- Hold regular meetings to facilitate communication
- Interview, hire, train and develop team members as per guidelines
- Perform other responsibilities as needed
