Job Description

Hilton Garden Inn is a globally recognized brand under the Hilton portfolio, known for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in the select-service hotel segment. With a commitment to quality service, comfort, and guest satisfaction, Hilton Garden Inn properties cater to both business and leisure travelers by offering modern amenities, welcoming environments, and excellent on-site dining options. The brand steadily continues to grow and innovate in the hospitality industry, upholding Hilton's high standards for service excellence and operational efficiency. At Hilton Garden Inn, team members are valued as essential contributors to the success and reputation of the hotel, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic workplace culture.

The Food & Beverage Manager / Chef role at Hilton Garden Inn is essential in ensuring that the hotel's food and beverage operations run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably, while also delivering a top-tier guest experience. This position involves hands-on leadership of both kitchen and dining operations, allowing for direct influence over culinary quality, menu execution, and overall food and beverage service. The Food & Beverage Manager will lead kitchen activities that include breakfast service, evening dining, and banquet/event catering, ensuring consistency in food preparation, presentation, and quality aligned with the Hilton brand standards.

In addition to culinary oversight, this role carries significant responsibility for operational management including vendor relationships, inventory control, cost management, and staffing. The candidate will oversee multiple outlets such as the restaurant, bar, and banquet spaces, ensuring smooth daily operations that meet health and safety regulations. This position also plays an integral part in driving revenue growth for meeting spaces, catering, and events by partnering with the sales team, responding to client inquiries, and creating attractive event proposals.

Financial acumen is crucial as the Food & Beverage Manager is tasked with budget management, monitoring of key performance indicators, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability, such as menu enhancements and upselling techniques. Leadership qualities are equally important; the manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and guiding a team of culinary and service professionals to maintain a motivated and high-performing work environment. This hands-on management style combines operational excellence with a passion for culinary innovation and outstanding guest service.

Employing a Food & Beverage Manager / Chef who merges culinary expertise with strong leadership and business skills is vital for the continued success of Hilton Garden Inn's F&B operations. This role is ideal for professionals seeking a dynamic position that blends creative kitchen management with strategic business oversight in a hospitality-focused environment. The position requires a flexible work schedule to support hotel operations including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflective of the hospitality industry demands.

Candidates with 4 to 7 years of relevant food and beverage experience, ideally within hotel settings and with a firm understanding of cost control and operational management, are preferred. Certification such as ServSafe or the ability to obtain it demonstrates commitment to food safety standards. Hilton Garden Inn promotes an inclusive and equal opportunity workplace where diversity is valued and discrimination of any kind is not tolerated, making it a vibrant place to advance a hospitality career.
