The Food and Beverage Manager role at Amangiri is a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the resort's food and beverage departments. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented leader who can manage, train, and inspire the Food & Beverage team, ensuring all service elements reflect Amangiri’s commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. The manager oversees all aspects of the dining experience, from guest greeting and seating to managing bookings and coordinating special arrangements. The role also includes operational management tasks such as scheduling, payroll, inventory control, and performance reporting. Providing strong leadership to the team, the manager fosters a positive and collaborative environment that drives high standards of service and operational efficiency. The manager regularly participates in strategic meetings, contributes to menu development, and helps refine departmental procedures to enhance the guest experience consistently. Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment or a similar food and beverage management role
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, wine, and spirits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and guests from various cultural backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a team effectively

Job Duties

  • Organize the greeting, seating, and departure of all guests, maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor
  • Train, evaluate, and schedule all restaurant staff to ensure high standards of service and performance
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and report generation
  • Regularly inspect all areas of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to Amangiri's high standards
  • Respond to guest inquiries, coordinate special arrangements, and handle bookings to ensure smooth service delivery and maximum sales
  • Provide strong leadership and support to all Food & Beverage staff, motivating the team to uphold exceptional service standards
  • Assist in daily reports, track departmental performance, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency
