Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum 4 years experience in food and beverage or culinary areas
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant field
  • 2 years professional experience in food and beverage or related area
  • ability to manage teams and food and beverage operations
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • capacity to handle guest and employee concerns
  • proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • leadership and coaching skills
  • commitment to service excellence
  • availability to work full time
  • adheres to corporate policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to develop and manage budgets
  • customer service expertise
  • effective communication skills
  • problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Job Duties

  • Develops and manages all financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans and actions for food and beverage departments
  • maintains a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations
  • utilizes budgets to understand financial objectives
  • manages the food and beverage departments (not catering sales)
  • supervises and manages employees and day-to-day operations
  • oversees all culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations
  • provides excellent customer service and responds proactively to guest and employee concerns
  • conducts performance reviews and coaches team members
  • ensures all banquet functions meet or exceed guest expectations
  • complies with corporate accounting procedures and drives effective departmental communication
