The Food & Beverage Manager role at Celebration Cinema Rivertown is a vibrant leadership position designed for experienced and enthusiastic professionals who have a passion for great food, drinks, and outstanding hospitality. This role is integral to balancing operational excellence with an engaging and fun environment. The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations with a distinctive focus on guest experience, product quality, and consistency. This includes managing inventory and food costs, ensuring proper storage, maintaining concession, bar, and kitchen spaces, and enforcing food safety and alcohol awareness standards. They also manage event planning for private and public group gatherings, review financial and operational reports, and support daily theatre operations, including serving as Theatre Manager-in-Charge when required.

Leadership is a cornerstone of this role. The manager is expected to train, coach, and lead diverse teams to deliver the exceptional standards of Celebrated Service that define the brand. This involves delegating responsibilities effectively, providing constructive feedback and motivation, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, and upholding all safety, sanitation, security, and compliance regulations. The manager also plays an important part in staff hiring and onboarding processes. To succeed in this dynamic and guest-facing environment, candidates should possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in restaurant and/or theatre management is preferred, along with certifications such as TIPS and ServSafe Food and Allergen Certification.

Job Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • 1-2 years of restaurant and/or theatre management experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • TIPS certification preferred
  • ServSafe Food and Allergen Certification preferred
  • Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain mobile and on your feet for the entire shift
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to clearly communicate with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Lead all food and beverage operations with focus on guest experience, quality, and consistency
  • Order, monitor, and control food and alcohol inventory while managing food costs
  • Accept and audit deliveries
  • maintain proper storage and rotation
  • Maintain concession, bar, kitchen areas, and related equipment
  • Ensure consistent recipe execution, portion control, food safety, and alcohol awareness
  • Handle end-of-month inventory and approve related account payables
  • Plan and execute private and public group events
  • Review financial and operational reports to spot trends and improve performance
  • Serve as Theatre Manager-in-Charge as needed or support the management team on shift
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming theatre experience for every guest
  • Support daily theatre operations including public showings and private events
  • Enforce cash-handling policies and procedures
  • Train, coach, and lead teams to deliver Celebrated Service
  • Delegate responsibilities and guide team members to meet operational goals
  • Provide regular feedback, performance coaching, and motivation
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful team environment
  • Uphold all safety, sanitation, security, and compliance standards
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding as needed
