Tamarack Golf Club, located in Naperville, IL, is part of this prestigious network and it is currently seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Manager. This is a pivotal role within the club, reporting directly to the executive team and contributing to various projects that support both operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. This position is responsible for directing and coordinating all activities within the food and beverage departments, ensuring that established operational standards are maintained and profits are maximized.
The Food & Beverage Manager at Tamarack Golf Club will play a critical role in upholding compliance with national programs such as the Core Beverage Program, Menu Program, Approved Product List, and Beverage Cartender Program. The manager will handle staff selection, development, and retention, creating a talented and motivated team focused on delivering excellent guest service. Responsibilities also include budgeting oversight, conducting monthly financial reviews, and addressing any financial shortfalls with clear plans of action. Maintaining open communication with other departments ensures that special programs and events run smoothly, contributing to overall member satisfaction.
This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food and beverage or chef leadership roles, possess solid customer service skills, and be adept at supervising a team. The working conditions may include nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the hospitality industry's demands.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage management or related leadership role
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in basic financial and accounting principles
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Commitment to excellent customer service

- Communicate successes and best practices to Field Specialist and/or VP Food & Beverage
- Create and execute short term and long term operational and financial plans
- Maintain communication between departments about special programs and events
