The role of Food & Beverage Manager at these esteemed clubs is pivotal in overseeing all restaurant operations within the Country Club and/or Yacht Club. This position is designed for a professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and the ability to uphold the club's strict service standards and policies. The Food & Beverage Manager will supervise the dining room activities, coordinate staff scheduling and training, manage dining setups, and ensure smooth daily operations and superior member interactions. This individual will also be responsible for monitoring food and beverage quality, handling member complaints promptly, and maintaining accurate point-of-sale information.
The position requires a hands-on leader who can communicate effectively with staff at all levels, the management team, and club members to create an enjoyable and seamless dining experience. Besides operational oversight, the Food & Beverage Manager will participate in budget management, inventory control, staffing management, and training. Experience in profit and loss management, beverage menu development, luxury catering, and formal and casual dining room management is necessary to excel in this role.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Frequent walking, reaching, bending, turning, squatting, stooping and stretching required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Normal vision and hearing ranges required
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred
- Minimum of 2 years related management experience
- Florida Food Manager Certification
- Florida Safe Serve Alcohol Compliance
- CPR/AED Certification

- Minimum of 2 years related management experience, preferably in private clubs, hotels or resorts
Job Duties
- Supervises dining room operations including servers, food runners and service assistants to ensure high quality service
- Schedules staff and plans dining room setup based on reservations
- Oversees host and hostess daily operations ensuring proper floor plans and dining room readiness
- Maintains accurate POS information for smooth service and accurate billing
- Monitors server tables during shifts to ensure proper maintenance, timely food delivery and resolves member or guest complaints promptly
- Communicates effectively as a strong leader with staff, management, members and guests
- Manages profit/loss, marketing, formal and casual dining rooms, catering events and beverage menu development
- Oversees completion of side work, cleanliness, and closing duties each shift
- Develops and evaluates staff, assists with hiring, training and disciplinary actions
- Submits reports timely including time sheets, schedules, rate changes and revenue analysis
- Maintains inventory of dining room items ensuring proper levels and storage
- Manages budget, labor costs and supplies to meet financial goals
- Conducts pre-meal and staff meetings
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol laws
- Completes other assignments from Beverage Director, Dining Director, Assistant or General Manager
