The hotel is well-known for blending contemporary elegance with the charm of the surrounding wine country, making it a sought-after destination for leisure and business travelers alike.

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Hotel Food & Beverage Manager to lead our front-of-house operations. The role requires leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences across multiple venues, including a full-service restaurant, outdoor bar, full-service bar & restaurant, and seasonal pool bar & café. The right candidate will be integral to ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining high financial and service standards.

As the Hotel Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations at Ponte Vineyard Inn. Your leadership will extend to managing and mentoring a dedicated team, enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as implementing effective cost controls and revenue strategies to drive financial success. You will work closely with staff to foster motivation, collaboration, and professional growth, ensuring that each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of operational and strategic functions. These include budgeting, labor management, inventory control, vendor relations, and ensuring the essential health, safety, and sanitation standards are met consistently. Your ability to manage financial performance while upholding the company’s environmental and service standards is crucial to the role. Additionally, you will be the primary point of contact for guest concerns related to the food and beverage service, handling issues with professionalism and efficiency.

The position demands flexibility, including working weekends, holidays, and nights as required to meet business needs. The successful candidate will hold relevant certifications such as Riverside County Food Handler's Manager Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, or have the ability to obtain them promptly. Proficiency with Toast POS and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, will be essential for managing operations effectively.

This role offers not only a rewarding career opportunity at an esteemed hotel but also the chance to work in one of California's most beautiful wine regions. The Hotel Food & Beverage Manager position is ideal for an experienced professional with a passion for food and beverage management, a dedication to service excellence, and a collaborative leadership style. Join Ponte Vineyard Inn to contribute to a team that values integrity, respect, environmental stewardship, and the relentless pursuit of quality guest experiences.
