The brand is driven by a passion for hospitality, emphasizing the human connection, loyalty with purpose, and creating engaging experiences that foster guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Within this vibrant and rapidly expanding company, the Food and Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role in the operational success of Sonesta's hotels. This position focuses on managing the food and beverage operations, particularly overseeing banquet events, to ensure they meet the high-quality standards synonymous with the Sonesta brand. The manager is responsible for maintaining profitable operations, quality product delivery, and exceptional service levels. Additionally, this role involves monitoring daily F&B activities, supporting culinary and outlet staff, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. The Food and Beverage Manager also steps in as the Food and Beverage Director during their absence, demonstrating strong leadership and operational capability.

The Food and Beverage Manager leads front-line teams by monitoring performance, training employees, and responding promptly to guest needs and complaints while making service recovery gestures to ensure complete guest satisfaction. This individual is also tasked with managing cash handling procedures, inspecting F&B areas for cleanliness and presentation, and conducting pre-shift meetings to prepare staff for daily operations. A focus on teamwork and communication supports the goal of quality service and smooth operations.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in food and beverage operations, particularly banquet services, and supervisory experience in hotels or similar facilities. Sonesta values employees who bring excellent communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and the aptitude to motivate and organize their team effectively. The job requires physical stamina for tasks such as lifting items up to 50 pounds and working in various service areas including banquet spaces, F&B outlets, and kitchens.

Sonesta International Hotels offers competitive pay and an extensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and sick days, 401(k) with company match, and more, underscoring the company’s commitment to the well-being and professional growth of its team members.
