The Food & Beverage Manager position at InterContinental Seattle Bellevue offers an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a team within a high-volume, luxury hospitality setting. This full-time role involves overseeing multiple food and beverage outlets, banquets, and in-room dining facilities. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager carries the responsibility to drive exceptional guest experiences, uphold food and beverage standards that reflect responsible business practices, and work collaboratively with financial teams to manage budgets and enhance revenue streams.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of progressive hotel food and beverage experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior food and beverage role
- Valid Washington state food handler's and MAST permit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Effective leadership and motivational skills
- Experience with POS systems preferred
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Managing, coaching, and developing a team of committed hospitality professionals
- Delivering exceptional guest and corporate experiences by setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them
- Managing food and beverage standards to deliver against our commitment to responsible business practices
- Working closely with the Hotel Manager and finance team to set, monitor and refine budgets and drive revenue
- Multitasking to oversee multiple food and beverage outlets, banquets, and in-room dining facilities as well as a number of managers and supervisors
- Assisting with the budget, marketing plans and objectives and managing within those approved plans
- Implementing and maintaining F&B sales/marketing programs
- Mentorship and overseeing the development of employees
- Hiring, training, empowering, coaching/counseling and conducting annual performance reviews
- Directing the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for food and beverage operations
- Coordinating food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Resolving guest complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
- Implementing procedures to increase guest and associate satisfaction
- Exercising quality control for both food and beverage
- Maintaining standards of service and ensure their implementation
- Performing daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and brand standards
- Coaching and counseling employees to reflect brand service standards and procedures
- Maintaining schedules for multiple outlets each week based on forecast and event schedules
- Ensuring all colleagues maintain current food and alcohol permits at all times
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Other duties as assigned
