Located in a picturesque setting, the club offers a luxurious experience through its top-quality dining venues, golf courses, and recreational facilities. Established to provide members with a welcoming and exclusive environment, Hillwood Country Club prides itself on upholding high standards of service, integrity, and community. Members enjoy a blend of tradition and modern amenities, making this club a sought-after destination for those looking to relax, socialize, and engage in upscale activities.

The Food & Beverage Manager position at Hillwood Country Club is a full-time exempt role that reports directly to the Food & Beverage Director. This pivotal role is responsible for managing and leading the front-of-house operations across all à la carte dining venues within the club. The manager ensures that every member and guest receives a memorable dining experience marked by exceptional service and attention to detail. This position requires overseeing multiple dining events daily, including lunch, dinner, and special member-related functions, often acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD). The role demands a highly visible leader who embodies the club's culture and service standards while fostering a team-oriented environment among hosts, servers, bussers, and bartenders.

As Food & Beverage Manager, the individual is expected to coordinate seamlessly between front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations. Responsibilities include supervising dining room readiness, enforcing service policies and club safety procedures, and managing inventory levels of dining essentials. The manager will lead daily pre-shift meetings, provide ongoing training for new and current staff members, and ensure responsible alcohol service compliant with local and state regulations. Additionally, the role entails collaborating in beverage program oversight, vendor relations, pricing strategies, and event support such as wine tastings and wine dinners.

Hillwood Country Club values a team culture promoting accountability, adaptability, integrity, professionalism, member-centric service, teamwork, respect, and attention to detail. The Food & Beverage Manager plays an essential role in advancing these values by delivering high service standards, managing member satisfaction, and supporting colleagues effectively. Candidates must be prepared for flexible working hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and a deep dedication to hospitality excellence. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree or have equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting; country club experience is preferred. Food safety and alcohol service certifications are mandatory. The position requires physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and the ability to oversee a dynamic dining environment effectively.

Joining Hillwood Country Club as Food & Beverage Manager offers the opportunity to serve a discerning membership base in a refined and professional setting while leading a skilled service team. This role is integral to maintaining the club’s reputation for excellence and delivering unparalleled dining experiences that meet the high expectations of its members.
