The Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) role at Wawa is an exciting leadership position responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within a store. This role works closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure smooth and consistent daily operations focused on delivering a fresh, efficient, and customer-centric experience. The FBM takes full ownership of the store's food and beverage programs including fresh foods, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering services. As the in-store expert, the FBM is tasked with driving food service sales while maintaining quality and consistency, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with peers to optimize operational results. This position involves mentoring and training Customer Service Associates to elevate their skills and motivation, supporting the recruitment, scheduling, and development of team members, and recognizing outstanding performance to foster growth within the team. Additionally, the Food & Beverage Manager ensures compliance with health and safety standards by maintaining a clean and safe food service environment, manages inventory control and equipment maintenance to promote efficiency, and actively champions marketing and promotional initiatives. The role requires a dynamic leader capable of multitasking, problem-solving, making sound decisions in fast-paced settings, and inspiring teamwork to achieve ambitious business goals.
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $22.70 to $28.40, depending on experience, position, and location, and Associates are eligible for monthly bonus incentives. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
- Strong leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail environments is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills

Job Duties
- Take ownership of food and beverage programs including fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering
- Drive food service sales and achieve performance goals with a focus on quality and consistency
- Monitor trends and collaborate with peers to develop action plans optimizing results
- Become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives
- Deliver training to Customer Service Associates to build proficiency and motivate outstanding customer service
- Support hiring, scheduling, training, and team development
- Recognize great performance and help Associates grow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting food service area meeting all health and safety standards
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and equipment upkeep to support smooth and efficient operations
