The role of Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Coral Gables places you at the heart of the hotel’s dynamic hospitality operations. As a vital member of the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will oversee multiple signature outlets including Two Sisters Restaurant, an elegant dining experience; Bar 50, known for its lively ambiance; the refreshing Pool Bar; the convenient Perks Coffee Bar; and the essential grab-and-go Market. Your leadership will directly influence the quality and consistency of service delivered across these diverse venues.

This full-time position involves supporting the Food & Beverage Division by managing staff training, facilitating interdepartmental communication, overseeing project management, and scheduling operations to ensure all areas function seamless and efficiently. You will be charged with maintaining Hyatt’s high service standards through strong leadership, exemplary communication, and a passion for hospitality. Your proactive approach will help cultivate a positive work environment, empower colleagues to perform their best, and guarantee that guests receive world-class service.

A key responsibility will be handling guest relations adeptly by responding promptly and professionally to guest feedback and concerns, ensuring that any issues are resolved to uphold satisfaction and enhance the guest experience. The role also demands operational support across restaurant and banquet services, requiring you to be versatile and hands-on in various facets of Food & Beverage management.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Food & Beverage Manager will set clear expectations, lead teams effectively, manage critical processes, and ensure accountability for assigned tasks and timelines. Meeting customer service goals will involve closely managing staffing levels and providing coverage where necessary to maintain optimal operations within all Food & Beverage departments. Your leadership will help the hotel continue its legacy as one of Coral Gables’ most iconic hospitality venues, making it a memorable and exceptional destination for all guests.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage supervisory role
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in scheduling and staff management
  • Knowledge of Hyatt Service Standards
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally

  • Maintain clear and effective communication within Food & Beverage Division and other hotel departments
  • Analyze and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Lead teams by creating expectations, managing processes, and holding staff accountable
  • Manage scheduling and staffing to meet customer service goals
  • Support operational needs in restaurant and banquet services
