With a focus on community engagement and associate ownership, Wawa fosters a collaborative and caring work environment where associates are valued as the core of the company’s success. The company’s mission to make life better every day, one smile, hoagie, or experience at a time, highlights its dedication to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Wawa operates numerous locations that collectively serve millions of loyal customers seeking convenience, quality products, and friendly service. This well-established business culture prioritizes teamwork, personal development, and career growth opportunities for associates, positioning Wawa as a great place to build a meaningful and rewarding career.

As the Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all food and beverage operations. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily activities within the food service area, working alongside the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. This role is key to delivering a consistently fresh, efficient, and customer-focused experience that meets Wawa’s high standards. The FBM is responsible for managing food programs, including fresh food offerings, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering services. You will drive food service sales by setting and achieving performance goals centered on quality and consistency, staying attuned to trends, and collaborating with peers to optimize results.

In addition to sales management, the FBM is the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for training Customer Service Associates to enhance their skills and motivate them to deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership extends to hiring, scheduling, training, and developing the team, recognizing excellent performance, and fostering growth among associates. Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and an inviting atmosphere in the food service area is a critical part of the role, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards. Inventory management, ordering, and equipment upkeep also fall under your purview to support seamless operations.

This position offers an hourly pay range of $22.70 to $30.60, commensurate with experience, position, and location, along with eligibility for monthly bonus incentives. Wawa’s inclusive benefits package supports associates financially, physically, and emotionally, featuring medical, dental, vision, and mental health benefits, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k) with matching, an Education Assistance Program, store discounts, paid time off, paid parental leave, and access to additional wellness and benefit programs. Reasonable accommodations for the application process are also available upon request.
